You wouldn't believe how hard this one was. Strangely, I know the movie by heart, I love the song and yet, it took me days to put together that picture. And I'm not even happy with it. Week 9 (already!) of Shay's Blog Hero Challenge is the ever so famous Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman, and I chose to go with Julia Roberts' look in the movie. Imagine in a minute, a handsome man in a tux is going to enter the room to take her away...

Hey there! Tossing out a quick post here. I’m finally able to start playing catch up after school finals and have several pieces I wanted to get posted. I was able to get through a couple of the major hunts going on currently and find out where a couple good advents are for the Holiday but I’ve still got tons more events I haven’t started to browse yet! Anyway, couple softer, pretty ones for today, trying not to overwhelm posts.. or myself.

First up is actually a mention of 2 things. Free Dove and the FabFree Headquarters. Both of these are collections of designer donated free sample items. There are several vendors involved and plenty of quality things to get any new AV started at least, plus find out what kinds of designers a person can start becoming a fan of. FabFree I was aware of but Free Dove I wasn’t. Both were LM’d and noted in a recent update from Heartsick who just updated the free skins they offer at these two locations. Both places are worth a visit whether you’re new or not, you never know if some of your favorite designers have items up!

Anyway, in lieu of rambling the details, I’ll just list info in the credits. Some things are free or discounted advents, sale rooms, hunt items, etc. The poses I used are actually the only things that don’t qualify for the “under $100” list, including the backdrop texture!

It's only mystery... and I like it!

If you are, like me, an absolute fan of Kouse's Sanctum's gowns, prepare to jump around and scream with joy and excitement. Kouse has set up a hunt, with 17 mystery gems scattered all over her store, sold for 75l$ each, and each containing a gorgeous gown that's sold normally for 350 to 500l$. 17 Gems, 17 Gowns, 17 days to complete the hunt (or just pick your favorite colors if you like). The colors of the gem will dictate the color Of the dress, but the style of the dress itself will be a mystery. No two gems contain the same style of dress, and all are best selling Sanctum favorites. I'm only showing you some of them, for lack of space (and some laziness, I must admit), and also to keep part of the mystery.

Kouse's Sanctum group gifts and cheapies.

Hello Folks! If you're a Kouse's Sanctum aficionada, you probably have already joined her inworld group, and that was a smart move, because as of today, there's a small enrollment fee of 50l$ if you want to join. And you DO want to join, because Kouse has decided to reinstate the group gifts on a regular basis. This month, there are not one, but 2! Two different colors of Sheila, the teal one is in the group notices, the purplish one is available in store for 50l$ only (but you have to wear your group tag to get it). So that's 2 exclusive gowns for 50l$ each if you're not already in the group, 2 for 50l$ total if you are, which, in any case, is a good deal.

Kouse has also just released a new gown, Gabrielle, and should you consider trying it, you can get an exclusive color, wine, in store for 99l$ only. I love the medieval touch of this gown, and its rich colors.

Let me tell you a secret : the lovely Kouse Singh is getting married! For this occasion, she is organising a special sale on a ton of blue dresses, each sold for 100l$ only at a special place on her sim... Here's your limo.

 

Easter Treats

Happy Easter everyone!! I have a few treats for you! This gorgeous gown brought to you by Kouse's Sanctum and for 100l$ only is an exclusive color of Naomi, one of her latest releases. As usual, the prim work is flawless, and the textures gorgeous. Its very light shade of pink could also make it a very decent wedding dress... just saying. Oh and while you're there, Kouse is having a retirement sale on a bunch of old gowns, each sold for 50l$ only... 

Below you can see a close up on the adorable chest ruffles, but also on my latest obsession, a piercing set called Signs and made by Ellantha Larsson from Ellabella, available in store for only 80l$. I've never liked piercings on SL, I usually find them vulgar, but Ellantha definitely made me change my mind. Her work is delicate and out of the ordinary, and I've even remade all my saved outfits to include, from now on, this very pretty piece of jewelry.

As for the moles and freckles, I'm happy you noticed them... {Shameless Self Advertising Alert} They're a tattoo layer that I put up in store in a set of 2 for only 10l$, so if you feel like giving your favorite skin a little more personnality, hop on to Banana Banshee.

The hair was yesterday's Tiny Bird's 50l$ friday offer, but it might still be in store, and it came in various colors...

Cheap cheap cheap... cheebidoowah!

 It's sunday, and I'm generally lazy, as you know, so I'll go straight to the point. My 2 favorite gown designers each have a gorgeous gown on sale for 100l$ or less, and since it doesn't happen every day, it's worth mentionning, me thinks.

Rose is wearing Elisabeth special edition from Evie's Closet, available in store or on the marketplace for 85l$ only.

Lou is wearing Faith, from Kouse's Sanctum, which was the Valentine's special but is still available for 100l$.

Both are wearing hair from fri.day, not free but the loveliest hairdos I've found on the grid.

Plus when I release new eyes, there's usually a freebie coming along with it. I'm just saying...
