I know what you think. And you're right. I am LATE. I seriously need to catch up on Shay's Blog Hero Challenge. So, let's start with this "Girls with Guitars" thing. I had planned to only use stuff I already own for this, but my first idea was to recreate that scene from Forrest Gump when Robin Wright is singing "Blowing in the Wind" naked and I couldn't for the life of me manage to hide ALL my naughty parts behind the guitar. So, you know, I had to put on clothes. And I tried half my inventory and NOTHING would fit my idea of the theme... It's not my fault, you see, I just HAD to buy something new... ^^ Unfortunately it's waaaay above 100l$ and therefore shouldn't even be mentionned on this blog.

The Sakide store is always taking part in a gazilion events, and that's great news! On the first two pics I actually mixed and matched outfits from two different hunts : the shirt is from the Gangster Girl Outfit for Jack or Jill Hunt, and the dress is the Heart Keeper Dress for ZombiePopcorn Hunt

This lovely Crimson Outfit for Rotten Valentine Hunt comes in two versions, a low cut and a high cut one. I accidentally left the shirt collar on for the pictures but I think it actually looks very good with the dress, so I left it on.

Hello! Just a quick post for you tonight before I run away to bed.. Indie Rose is closing at the end of the year. The entire store has been marked to 50% off and will remain until closing on the 1st. There are also some $1L Christmas presents scattered about the store for some extra treats. I grabbed a couple of things, my favorite being this rhinestone top.

I’ve mentioned it in the past but I have a strange (and strong) addiction to prefabs/buildings/décor/etc even though I don’t have a “home” set up in SL. The only thing I really use them for is studio photo sets. I can’t help it though, honestly! I see them, I buy them. Sometimes I end up disappointed.. today, I definitely was not! If I did the whole housekeeping thing here, I could easily see myself using this house. Hey there! Tossing out a quick post here. I’m finally able to start playing catch up after school finals and have several pieces I wanted to get posted. I was able to get through a couple of the major hunts going on currently and find out where a couple good advents are for the Holiday but I’ve still got tons more events I haven’t started to browse yet! Anyway, couple softer, pretty ones for today, trying not to overwhelm posts.. or myself.

First up is actually a mention of 2 things. Free Dove and the FabFree Headquarters. Both of these are collections of designer donated free sample items. There are several vendors involved and plenty of quality things to get any new AV started at least, plus find out what kinds of designers a person can start becoming a fan of. FabFree I was aware of but Free Dove I wasn’t. Both were LM’d and noted in a recent update from Heartsick who just updated the free skins they offer at these two locations. Both places are worth a visit whether you’re new or not, you never know if some of your favorite designers have items up!

Anyway, in lieu of rambling the details, I’ll just list info in the credits. Some things are free or discounted advents, sale rooms, hunt items, etc. The poses I used are actually the only things that don’t qualify for the “under $100” list, including the backdrop texture!

Lazy Sunday Looks Like Winter

Hello, hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend and those in the US had a fantastic holiday. I personally stuffed myself silly, spent time with nieces and cousins playing games and tired myself out. Hopefully some of you caught some of the fantastic deals that went on in SL on Friday, even some continuing through today. I’ve got lots for you today, too! Nearly everything shown is $100L or under, the only thing that isn’t is the logs I placed in the fireplace of the house. The grass outside also was of my own doing, not included with the house.

For this weeks Lazy Sunday, you can grab the Christmas bike pose prop from What Next, the snow globe necklace at Ey:No (with animated snow!), sweater from Bellies and the skin at Iren, which naturally has these cute rosy cheeks and freckles. Pants are the Bizness Pants, currently on sale at the Plastik. Hair is from Exile. If you haven’t heard yet, huge retirement sale on a bunch of hair from Exile. Single color packs for $50, fatpacks for $250. And the house itself I picked up at Abode’s booth at the Vintage Fair. There are several houses/skyboxes for $50L. I’ll be honest, there are a couple of textures on the outside of this house that you’ll probably want to manually adjust as they, for whatever reason, aren’t aligned properly. I doubt it was made this way, probably a result of the rezzer but they’re easy fixes. Note also, the logs do not come with the fireplace! All other part credits below!

Hello! Me again with quite a few adorable things to show you! Let's start with probably the funniest yet cutest shirt I've seen on SL in a long long time, maybe ever. Airedine Poe of Adore&Abhor sells it in several colors at the Vintage Fair, for 100l$ only.

The make up I'm wearing on my usual skin is from Mock, and can be found at the Seraphim headquarters, free for group members.

Simple tanktops are a must have in one's wardrobe, and when they're from Somnia and free (Seraphim HQ), there's no reason to miss them!

I know, I've been a lazy blogger this week, but let me make it up to you with lovely things that won't hurt your l$ balance (well, not too much).

First off, Alexohol's mesh pencil skirt, available at the Vintage Fair, that I fell in love with when I first saw it on Shay's blog. It took me a while to get it because, as you probably know if you tried it yourself, the Vintage Fair was lagtastically crowded during the first week, but let me tell you it was well worth the wait... and the 100l$ (a steal!) that it cost me.

I am very much a turtleneck person in RL, and these two cute little numbers made me drool... On the left, Riddle's Cableknit Cutie (100l$ at Vintage Fair) and on the right, RezIpsa Loc's Cowl Neck Sweater, available at Fashionably Late for only 75l$ for a limited time.

Rezzie Luckstone's shop (RezIpsa Loc) is now officially in my "favorites" landmark folder. I love that she makes things simple yet adorable, and at very reasonable prices, like the sweater above. She makes clothes I would want to wear in RL, because just seeing them on my screen makes me feel cozy and comfy.

Like this outfit, that she made for the Seraphim blog's group gift : it includes the tights, the shirt and the feather necklace and you can grab it for free at the Seraphim headquarters (you need to join the group, but it's free)

Hunting and the White Armory

Weekend postings.. part 2! The White Armory is having another $100L sale until Sunday evening. Same 2nd floor sections as last time plus the 4th section that wasn’t up for sale last time. This gorgeous, detailed dress is Moonshadows Spirit which you’ll find in that added 4th section.

I used the skin from Katsucide this time. It’s the hunt gift for the Diamond Is Mine Hunt. See their website for pics and details. Note however, I did add a lipstick and some eye makeup. Orange lips just weren’t matching with my purple dress! The necklace is from Oomph! and can be picked up in their closing sale. I just checked the store and it’s still there but I can’t remember when I read it will be going away entirely. There are also poses/pose props and couples/groups poses, entire store is marked to $40L.

Another one from the 4th section of sale items at the White Armory. If you don’t like blue, this Sylvan Valkrie outfit also comes in 3 other colors (I think, or at least 2 others). Note however, swords and boots are not included.

And anther skin hunt item, this time from Candydoll. Like the Katsucide skin, I added some lip color and eye lashes. The blue eyeshadow is part of the skin itself. To be completely honest, I don’t care for the dark shadow under the bottom lip on any skin, really, but other than that it has a very “elven” face to me! The hair is also a hunt item from D!va. There are two versions of the hair included and has an array of flowers to the right side that are color change and can be turned on or off.

Other than the Vintage Fair, it’s been relatively quiet on my end this week.. until the weekend hit! A store closing, weekend sale, Fair gifts, group gift and a hunt.. I’m going to break this up into a couple of posts because it could be a bit long with all the credits and details!

The opening pic is a cute mesh dress was sent out to the new Celoe group. If you haven’t heard about this new designer group, check out this blog post. The group is currently free to join but I don't know if it will stay that way. The dress is in the notices!

This lovely, soft skin I used is the current Illusory item at Collabor88. You’ll have until the 7th of December to pick this one up. I did add a lipstick color, eyeshadow and tattoo lashes to it though. And the pearl jewelry shown is the Vintage Fair gift from Caroline’s jewelry. It comes with both a silver and gold version.

Elegant black dress is a hunt item from Angel Dessous for the Diamond Is Mine Hunt. See their website for pics of all the hunt prizes and details.

Hi guys! Yes, me again.. I wouldn’t put money on me posting this frequently all the time though, it's just one of those weeks. Found some more goodies for you, though. And this time, I’m getting to display some of that style preference I mentioned in my intro.

Ok, I should have done my shopping earlier today cause Friday is almost over already! I apologize, I became distracted by snowflake stuff.. With the stuff below, my “not casual often” comment still appears to be a lie. Would you also believe I prefer to be blonde and blue eyed?

One of the important reasons I’m kicking myself for time management is showing off this sweater! It’s from Kyoot and available in 4 color tones for 50L Friday. I’m headed back as soon as I’m done writing here to grab the other 3 colors, cause darn it’s cute. In all and total honesty, I don’t generally care for stomach prims on shirts, most of the time I figure out a way to wear it without using them. I was able to mod this one enough though where it didn’t bother me at all.

The jeans are jeans you can move in! Yep, they’re mesh and free from Slink. They’re in a box by the redelivery terminal and come with a hud to change the shade from light, medium and dark jeans. There are several sizes in side, but keep in mind since they are mesh, you will likely need the use the alpha layer and possibly edit your shape some to fit in them. Think of it as dieting to get back into those jeans you used to love ;)

Hair is in the brand new Dressing Room Blue collection from Exile. It’ll be up for 2 weeks and comes with 4 color shades.

And last but not least is this pretty skin! It’s a base skin, I added a tattoo liner/lash layer so keep that in mind when purchasing. But, it’s $10L per tone on the base Eliza skin from Apple May Designs.. for this weekend only! Because I’m a complete skinaholic that changes my appearance often, I bought 5.. Tattoo makeup layers are my friend anyway!

Oh yeah, almost forgot! The pose is from Olive Juice also for 50L Friday. Pack of 6 variations of casual poses for 18 total.

Today I get to be a princess... and I love it! It's been a while since I've roleplayed and I must admit I miss it sometimes. I used to wear adorable gowns like that all the time... Well, not exactly like this one, for the Princess Shoppe's creations are quite new on the grid, but already worth talking about. This particular color is called Delectable Cocoa, and part of the new designer's third batch, Princess Anne. What makes it special is that, for the next week or so, you can get it on the Marketplace for only 99l$.

Hello! *waves* I’m Neida (Neida Rae in SL) and have been graciously allowed to blog here on Rosie’s crew. I’m humbled by even being allowed to try my hand, thank you for opening the doors to some new adventures J I am pretty darn new to blogging in general and to using Blogger so I promise I’ll try not to mess up too much!

On to new stuff! Casual, in general, is a bit of a departure from my normal look but those details will be apparent later on. I love the store fri.day though and they happen to be at Collabor88 this month! This top and jeans are a complete set for $88L until the next round beginning December 8. Rosie blogged a couple other pieces you can get in this round, too.

RezIpsa Luckstone likes things simple. She makes gloves layer nails because, just like me, she never managed to make those ever so artificial prim nails fit right. And the result is lovely. She makes clothes that I would wear in RL, that make me feel comfy. The bell sleeve Mustash sweaters in pink and white are the first of the series that will be released sometime next week, and are sold for only 75l$ for the 2 of them, part of the Lazy Sunday event.

It is the second time in a few days I have Shayariel to thank for, as she once again teleported me this morning to yet another lovely and new to me place, to slap a lucky board. As it took me about 5 minutes to rez properly, I missed the white dress and R never came up again after that. But since I was there I cammed around (the place is beautiful, it inspired the pictures on this post) and grabbed a few gifts :

That pretty little dress is another lucky board gift, (you need to join the group, but it's free) or if you're unlucky like me (or don't want to wait), you can grab it for 60l$.

This one is supposed to be a Halloween gift, so I don't know how long it'll still be available, but I think it's cute any time of the year.

If you are, like me, an absolute fan of Kouse's Sanctum's gowns, prepare to jump around and scream with joy and excitement. Kouse has set up a hunt, with 17 mystery gems scattered all over her store, sold for 75l$ each, and each containing a gorgeous gown that's sold normally for 350 to 500l$. 17 Gems, 17 Gowns, 17 days to complete the hunt (or just pick your favorite colors if you like). The colors of the gem will dictate the color Of the dress, but the style of the dress itself will be a mystery. No two gems contain the same style of dress, and all are best selling Sanctum favorites. Hello people!! After reinstalling completely my viewer, I am finally able to do some stuff on SL, so here I am and I come bearing MESH! I just acquired my very first mesh clothes and so far, I luuuurve it! Beware, you need to use a mesh enabled viewer to see mesh stuff, otherwise, well, it'll look like crap, which would be a shame, honestly.

Riddle just released this cute mesh skirt and sculpted top outfit for Project Themeory, for only 75l$ for the outfit! (BTW they're having a 50% off sale on the whole shop, so that's one more reason to drop by)

Have you noticed the cute shoes? They're the latest group gift from Katat0nik , and they're mesh too... Plus I think they match the outfit perfectly.

If you're a Kouse's Sanctum aficionada, you probably have already joined her inworld group, and that was a smart move, because as of today, there's a small enrollment fee of 50l$ if you want to join. And you DO want to join, because Kouse has decided to reinstate the group gifts on a regular basis. This month, there are not one, but 2! Two different colors of Sheila, the teal one is in the group notices, the purplish one is available in store for 50l$ only (but you have to wear your group tag to get it). With your second generation just out a few weeks ago, and now the new cat/neko eyes, you prove once more that your creations are a lightyear above any other eyemaker on the grid. Have I mentionned I have a crush on you?

Rose suddenly notices the readers "Oh here you are... ahem... well, Lano Ling would love your opinion on his new eyes, and he left a free preview at the back of his store, Poetic Colors, it's a box with a cat sitting on it. Oui oui, c'est moi... *giggles* C'est moi is a shop I've just discovered and will probably tell you more about in the future, since when I went to get the Project Themeory item of the week, I started drooling instantly on the rest of the shop. I figured I'd first get this first (and super cheap) little dress, try it on, and if it looked as pretty on me as it does on the pictures, I'd get back and buy some more... Yes, I can be that reasonable sometimes... But when I tried it on I remembered that Project Themeory only lasts until tonight and I might as well show this to you while it's still available... Greetings! I am back (pretty much, winter is definitely over and I'm bound to spend less time on SL for the next few months than I usually do when it's freezing outside a dark after 4pm). I have started roleplaying in a new fantasy-medieval sim and I figured I'd need new clothes... Don't we all? Since I've been of the "in character" game for a while, I had to get some help from my friend Shay, who always know what I mean even why I'm not sure myself, fashion-wise. She sent me to Angelwing and she just made my day!

The Anakarina set includes the dress, ribbons and wings and it's free! I'm pretty sure the whole blogging community has featured it already, but I figured it would be nice to show a reminder.

Easter Treats

Happy Easter everyone!! I have a few treats for you! This gorgeous gown brought to you by Kouse's Sanctum and for 100l$ only is an exclusive color of Naomi, one of her latest releases. As usual, the prim work is flawless, and the textures gorgeous. Its very light shade of pink could also make it a very decent wedding dress... just saying. Oh and while you're there, Kouse is having a retirement sale on a bunch of old gowns, each sold for 50l$ only...

Below you can see a close up on the adorable chest ruffles, but also on my latest obsession, a piercing set called Signs and made by Ellantha Larsson from Ellabella, available in store for only 80l$. I've never liked piercings on SL, I usually find them vulgar, but Ellantha definitely made me change my mind. Her work is delicate and out of the ordinary, and I've even remade all my saved outfits to include, from now on, this very pretty piece of jewelry.

As for the moles and freckles, I'm happy you noticed them... {Shameless Self Advertising Alert} They're a tattoo layer that I put up in store in a set of 2 for only 10l$, so if you feel like giving your favorite skin a little more personnality, hop on to Banana Banshee.

The hair was yesterday's Tiny Bird's 50l$ friday offer, but it might still be in store, and it came in various colors...

Unlike many of my fellow bloggers, I didn't cover the Fantasy Fair this year... Mainly because so many others do already... like my pawed friend, Mae... But I can't not cover one of my top 5 clothes designers, especially when she provides not one, but several items that fit the under 100l$ rule...

But first I'd like to show you something that was dropped on me earlier and really caught my attention... The shop is called Fantasia, and they can be found at the Fantasy Fair on the Nemo sim. Just look at the lovely scales covering my skin... They're a tatoo layer, and absolutely perfect if you're a mer in SL, or just were enchanted or something... The outfit is from Fantasia too, but over the price limit, so no, no, do not insist, I am not talking about it!

Naïad Scales, 100l$ (6 colors)

There was an auction to free Evie from a cage on the Forest of Light sim earlier, and every donation got rewarded, but since it was the middle of the night for me, I was fast asleep and missed it. Maybe you did too... In this case, fear not, my friend, for Evie has set up the vendors in her main shop, and they're pay-what-you-want, so totally affordable for anyone... plus it's for a good cause. To fight cancer, each l$ counts. There is also a male outfit, so grab your significant (or insignificant) other, and get to Evie's Closet (if he won't come, nevermind, the outfits are transfer!)

Albero Hunt

I know, this hunt has been over blogged already, but if you've been reading this blog for a while, you know I don't like hunt... searching for hours and sometimes not finding the tiny little thingy you're looking for, it simply drives me crazy. But the Albero & Cioccolata hunt always provides gifts so pretty, it's totally worth the effort! First, grab a hud at the arrival point. Right next to it is a tree stump, it's the first of 16 you have to find to fill your hud (wear it at all times). The first stump will give you a clue to the second one, and so on... some can be very tricky, check the rooftops, under the ground and pretty much everywhere. Once your hud is filled, go to the 36 participating stores to get your prices. Let me sum it up: 16 tree stumps to find for 36 gifts!! Still I suck at hunts so I got help from nice folks who were hunting too, and I would like to thank particularly Rocky, without whom I would probably have given up after item #1 (and who made me laugh a lot)... Now, less blah blah, more ooooh and aaaaaahhh:

As you know, yesterday was Saint Patrick's day. I made a group gift for my beloved Banana Banshee customers! The first of the Clover series (soon to be released) is called "Paddy", and you can either get the system eyes in the Subscribe'O'Matic or join the inworld group for a tiny fee of 20l$ and get the whole pack with prim eyes and the alpha layer. The "You, RL" shirt is from terri.tees, I think it's only 40l$. If you haven't already, you should definitely take a look at her shop!

Also, the Golden Lotus sim is finally open and my second shop is there! I have set up 3 dollarbies in the shop. They are somewhat hidden, but pretty easy to find, I assure you. Janszoon eyes in Eclipse, Shay and Water are shown below, they're what you can get! The Golden Lotus sim is home to the Blue Lotus Okiya group, an inworld group of Geisha ladies. Take a look around the sim, it's gorgeous, traditional Japan inspired, and you can also find Geisha Dreams' new main shop there... If you're even remotely interested in kimono and ancient Japan related stuff, you're going to love it!

More than 400 designers have decided to help and have set up a whole temporary shop with lots of exclusive creations sold for charity. Each designer has at least an item that gives 100% for the Pacific Crisis Fundraiser... As I am typing these words, we have just broke the ONE MILION L$ mark!!! And it's only been open since midnight SLT!!! I have created four exclusive new eyes, japan inspired. They are each sold for 100l$ and buying them will allow you to participate if you haven't already...

I discovered the Shack thanks to Zahra from Fancifull Freebies, and I hadn't had time to get there and stalk the lucky boards yet... There are 5 of them, with at least 2 different gifts in it, but I haven't been too lucky so far, so here is only a sample of what you can get.
